Breaking the league’s set piece assist record set by David Beckham was the cherry on top of an already-stellar season where Price demonstrated that he was indispensable for the Rapids.

Performance Review

There aren’t enough superlatives to describe Jack Price’s play in his sophomore effort with Colorado. The midfielder was only dispossessed ten times all season, provided beautiful service on set pieces, and featured in every 2019 Rapids win. Price proved beyond a shadow of a doubt to be Colorado’s most valuable player in 2019.

Future Expectations

Price turns 27 tomorrow and should prove to be a long-term fixture for the Colorado Rapids midfield. Though there’s no reason to be worried now, his final contract year (2021) looms near and should stay in the back of your mind.
