Performance Review

Feilhaber was a clear starter as an attacking midfielder during Colorado’s horrific start under Anthony Hudson and put in four goal contributions in nine appearances. However, the veteran was frustrated enough at the team’s performances to demand a move back to Kansas City. Wonder how that worked out for him…

Future Expectations

There are clearly no expectations for Feilhaber in terms of a Rapids future, but the handling of his time at the club certainly bodes poorly for potential veterans signed on short term deals. Wanting to win is fine, but Colorado must look to players who refuse to give up even in the midst of a rough patch. Colorado secured a promising youngster in Abdul Rwatabyaye in exchange for Feilhaber, but the next mistake might not be as forgiving.
