Season in a Sentence

Bismarck “Nana” Adjei-Boateng couldn’t make it on the field for the Rapids in 2019 and agreed to mutual termination midseason to address a family issue in Europe.

Performance Review

Whether it be injury, inconsistency, or fitness, there always seemed to be something that was holding Boateng back from becoming a true talent in central midfield. It didn’t help that – like Johan Blomberg – Boateng fell victim to a squad that decisively improved competition at his position. With no appearances in 2020, there’s no measure to grade the Ghanaian’s performances.

Future Expectations

Boateng has departed Colorado by mutual consent and is currently not on contract with any club.
