If reports out of Swedish newspaper Expressen are to be believed, the Colorado Rapids have a tough hill to climb if they desire to bring Romain Gall to Dick’s Sporting Goods Park this transfer window.
Malmö FF – winners of Allveskan in four out of the last five seasons – are keen on signing Gall to fill the void left by Mattias Svanberg’s departure. Svanberg recently transferred from the Swedish giants to Bologna in Italy’s Serie A.
With rumors swirling around Gall’s future after a successful stint at GIF Sundsvall, it is clear that his services are in high demand. Multiple sources have indicated that the Rapids are interested in acquiring the American attacking midfielder, but time will tell if Colorado can manage to offer a better deal than Malmö.
